An Oldie - Engaging Your “Back Muscles”

I ran across this video in my Facebook memories and thought it would be a nice addition to my blog. Occasionally I get messages or emails from friends and students with questions about anatomy, how to connect with certain muscles, visualizations or ways to help their students. I LOVE these questions and I intend to turn more of the answers into videos.

This video is a few years old (hence the quality) and I have since created more detailed explanation of which back muscles you are engaging, other ways to feel them, etc. But, that doesn’t make this one less effective! It just goes to show there are many ways to answer some questions, especially when it comes to exploring movement and various ways to feel into your own organic alignment! Enjoy!

Have questions? Want to see a video or breakdown of something specific? Feel free to message or email me!
